Firefox browser, should I use it?

Yes, using Firefox browser will save you from the many problems we see with Internet Explorer, We recommend Firefox for maximum website compatibility and speed.

As of December 2015 the Current version stable release is Firefox 43  – Download the update now, Click the banner below and check your version is up to date.

At the end of the day, both Google’s Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are excellent web browsers for Windows, and you can’t go wrong with either. From our perspective, more and more power users seem to be swapping happily to Chrome from Firefox, If you’ve been frustrated with Firefox, we’d recommend kicking the tires of Chrome to see how you like it; you can always switch back if you decide your heart lies with Firefox.

If, on the other hand, you’re perfectly happy with Firefox, we don’t see any reason to upset a good thing. (If it ain’t broke and all that.)

Here at Citrus Computers and Internet we always use Firefox, never really got to grips with Chrome, but that does not mean we don’t recommend Chrome.

So often we hear our customers say “We use Google to get on the Internet” they think because when clicking on the blue E (MS Internet Explorer) and it goes to the Google HOME page, they see that as a Google product, in fact all web browsers have the ability to use “ANY” page as the first or HOME page, it’s purely a mater of personal preference or taste what you see when clicking on your Internet “Icon” you can now actually have more than one page auto start by using tabs. This can also be very convenient when you use webmail, a news page, Facebook or your favourite site everday, all you have to do is click the “TAB” and you page will have already been loaded.

If you need more help or advice or want us to setup / optimise your browser or even carry out a PC tuneup, just get in touch and ask about our remote support discount tickets which allow you access to our technicians and advisors at preferential rates, our remote support tickets never expire and offer great value over adhoc repairs and computer service costs.
